...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oregon... Owyhee River Below Owyhee Dam affecting Malheur County. .Snow melt and increased reservoir releases is causing minor flooding downstream from the dam. For the Owyhee River...including Owyhee Dam...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam. * WHEN...Until late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 3,000.0 cfs, Low lying roads, river access and recreation sites adjacent to the river will flood. Farm equipment near the river may need to be moved. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:30 PM MDT Friday /3:30 PM PDT Friday/ the flow was 3,076 cfs. - Bankfull is 1,000 cfs. - Forecast...The river is expected to drop below flood stage late Saturday morning. - Flood flow is 3,000 cfs. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
