NCDOT contractor will replace the I-85 BUS South bridge over US-29 and the off ramp to Martin Luther King Jr./Joseph M. Hunt road bridge over US-29. There will be occasional lane closures and traffic shifts during the life of the project for I- 85 BUS Southbound traffic.

Lanes Closed on I-85 In Greensboro
Various lane closures may occur on I-85 between I-40 and the Business I-85 each night in order for crews to perform patching and surface grinding of the existing concrete roadway.   One lane may be closed each night beginning at 8:00 PM, with a second lane closure occurring at 10:00 PM.  All lanes should re-open at 6:00 AM the following morning.
