For the Owyhee River...including Wildhorse Dam, Wildhorse, Mountain City...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is observed. * WHERE...Owyhee River near Mountain City. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs along the river channel. River embankment erosion occurs. Rodeo grounds are flooded. Low-lying hay fields and pasture flooding occurs. Businesses located along the river in Mountain City experience water seepage. Water has to be pumped from the Visitor Center. River level is nearing the level of the Boney Lane Bridge spanning the Owyhee River, and Nevada State Highway 225 between Mountain City and Owyhee.
