Special Weather Statement

Special Weather Statement issued March 28 at 2:32PM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

Precipitation associated with the next weather system will begin to spread into eastern North Dakota and the northwest quarter of Minnesota Friday morning, and could potentially linger across northwest Minnesota into Saturday morning. For areas along and north of the highway 200 corridor, 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible, while areas south of the highway 200 corridor should see an inch or less. Mixed precipitation is also possible, bringing a light glaze of ice with it. This would affect the early Friday morning and late evening commutes. In addition, as temperature fall late Friday evening untreated surfaces have the potential to refreeze causing additional impacts. If planning travel, make sure to check the latest forecast and road conditions before heading out.
