Flash Flood Warning issued April 17 at 11:01PM EDT until April 18 at 12:30AM EDT by NWS Charleston WV

At 1101 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts may continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Athens, Albany, Coolville, Stroud Run State Park and The Plains.

In south central Ohio, Ross. * WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Logan, Nelsonville, Hocking Hills State Park, Logan Elm Village, Starr, Laurelville, Murray City, Adelphi, Tarlton, Gibisonville, Lake Logan State Park, Enterprise, Rockbridge, Ilesboro, South Bloomingville, Buena Vista in Hocking County, Union Furnace, Haydenville, Oreville and Carbon Hill.
