Road Closed with Detour on SR-1547 South East of Mars Hill
SR 1547 (Whitt Branch Rd) will be closed with an off site detour while the existing bridge #560001 will be replaced with a new structure on contract C203573. The road will be shut down Monday (4/4/2016) morning. Traffic will be detoured on the following roads: SR 2151 (Bartlett Rd.) onto SR 2207 (Stockon Rd.) onto SR 1610 (Old Mars Hill Rd) and to SR 1540 (Beech Glen Rd.). The project is under contract with Dane Construction and will be finished the fall of this year.

Lane Closed on SR-1318 North of Marshall
Bridge #560076 in Madison County on SR 1318 (Big Laurel Rd) will be replaced by a new structure. SR 1318 (Big Laurel Rd) will be reduced to a one lane one way pattern utilizing a flagging operation while the structure is replaced. The project is under contract with Dane Constructors and will finish late summer of next year.
