For the Saint Marys River...including Decatur, St. Mary's River near Fort Wayne...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Saint Marys River near Decatur. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, County road 225 north of Pleasant Mills is flooded. Ohio River At Point Pleasant affecting Gallia and Mason Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Ohio River at Point Pleasant. * WHEN...Until late this morning. * IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Low-lying areas surrounding Point Pleasant and vicinity are flooded due to backwater. Also, the amphitheater lower pier is flooded and half way up the steps. Salt Creek Road, Hannan Trace Road, Huntington Road at Boggs Run Road and Mason Eighty Road start to flood. At 41.0 feet, The Addison, Blaville Road in Ohio is flooded and low lying areas surrounding Point Pleasant and vicinity are flooded due to backwater. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 41.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 AM EDT Tuesday was 41.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this morning and continue falling to 27.2 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 43.8 feet on 02/14/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ohio River at Meldahl Dam. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 49 feet, lowland flooding near the river occurs, as well as backwater flooding in southern Clermont and Brown Counties in Ohio and Bracken County in Kentucky. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 49.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is now cresting and is expected to remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 49.0 feet. - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ohio River at Cincinnati. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 51 feet, water covers more areas of Kellogg Avenue from east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island to near Eight Mile Road. Parts of Humbert Avenue in the East End of Cincinnati also flood. Most of Public Landing is flooded, as well as Riverside Park off River Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 51.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 51.3 feet this morning before falling . - Action stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.

The City of Maysville itself is protected by flood walls to stages just above 79 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 49.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is now cresting and is expected to remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 48.0 feet. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

Backwater flooding occurs into the Scioto River, as well as along smaller creeks flowing into the Ohio River. Flood waters expand across route 73, as well as State Route 239. Much of Portsmouth itself is protected by flood walls. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 50.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting around 50.5 feet now. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
