Meanwhile, a lingering front near the North Carolina Coast will cause showers and thunderstorms in the Southern Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast until Sunday evening. By Monday night, this wet weather moves to the Central and Western Gulf Coast. Up north, showers and storms will appear in the Northern High Plains and Northern Plains through early Monday, with additional rainfall in the Great Lakes and Northeast from Monday to Tuesday. Finally, expect a sprinkle of rain along the Northwest Coast early Tuesday.
