The Lower Mississippi Valley could see moderate to heavy rain, which might lead to localized flash flooding due to excessive rainfall.
Tuesday
By Tuesday, the showers and thunderstorms will mostly focus on the Southeast. Meanwhile, another front, starting in the Northern Intermountain Region and extending into the Great Basin, will move towards the Great Lakes. This will bring rain and thunderstorms to the Northern Plains on Monday night and into the Ohio Valley and Middle Mississippi Valleys by Tuesday.
