* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central Illinois, including the following counties, Boone and Winnebago. * WHEN...Until 500 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. High water likely may recede slowly from flooded areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1050 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 5.5 inches of rain have fallen. Little to no additional rainfall is expected through the night. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
