IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Humble, Kingwood, Barrett, Crosby, Lake Houston Dam, Lake Houston, Atascocita, Sheldon, and eastern Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... * WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...Kenedy Island, Willacy Island and Cameron Island Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM CDT this evening through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Wave run-up may approach the dunes along narrow beaches. Beach equipment, such as umbrellas and chairs, could be moved by waves. Vehicles driving along narrow beaches may experience higher water levels. Elevated water levels may also occur across the Laguna Madre and South Bay, and along State Highway 4 west of Boca Chica State Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak inundation is expected to occur near high tide tonight at 127 AM.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Coastal Harris, Colorado, Fort Bend, Grimes, Inland Harris, Montgomery, Walker, Waller, Washington and Wharton. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Over the last 24 hours, much the watch area has seen between 3-6 inches with a swath of 6-8+ inches observed from southwestern Montgomery County down through western Harris County. Showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy downpours will continue to impact the watch area through this evening. Embedded training rain rates of 2-4 inches per hour will be possible with the deep tropical airmass overhead. Locations that experience training storms with heavier rainfall rates may experience rapid runoff that could result in flash flooding. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
