* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Fillmore County in southeastern Minnesota... Northern Houston County in southeastern Minnesota... Southern Winona County in southeastern Minnesota... Southern La Crosse County in west central Wisconsin... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 755 PM CDT, thunderstorms continue to move east across parts of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and west central Wisconsin.Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Several beaches that will be most susceptible to the dangerous swimming conditions include... Cresent Beach and City of Kewaunee Beach in Kewaunee County. Point Beach, Neshotah Beach and Red Arrow Beach in Manitowoc County.
