Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours will lead to an increased risk for flash flooding late this afternoon and evening in the western Mohawk Valley. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms developing across the area can be slow-moving and lead to heavy rainfall and instances of flash flooding. Rainfall rates can near, or exceed 1 inch per hour at times. Showers and thunderstorms will develop across the region. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with rainfall rates near, or exceeding 1" per hour at times.
