* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...Southwest Suffolk and Southern Nassau Counties. * WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 1 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels may approach or touch minor coastal flood benchmarks the next couple of days during times of high tide.

Do not drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water depth or fast flowing water/mud/debris from a flash flood will make road conditions unsafe.
