* WHAT...Dangerously hot and humid conditions. Afternoon temperatures 106 to 116 expected. Overnight temperatures 85 to 91. Moderate to Major Heat Risk. * WHERE...In Arizona, Parker Valley and Yuma. In California, Chuckwalla Valley, Imperial County Southeast, Imperial County Southwest, Imperial County West, Imperial Valley, Palo Verde Valley, and Salton Sea. * WHEN...From 10 AM MST /10 AM PDT/ Tuesday to 8 PM MST /8 PM PDT/ Thursday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Overexposure can cause heat cramps and heat exhaustion to develop and, without intervention, can lead to heat stroke.
