* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Alabama, including the following areas, Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal and Mobile Inland and northwest Florida, including the following areas, Escambia Coastal, Escambia Inland, Okaloosa Coastal, Okaloosa Inland, Santa Rosa Coastal and Santa Rosa Inland. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected Saturday through at least Sunday afternoon. Additional rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches are expected with locally higher amounts of up to 10 inches possible. For the Styx River...including Elsanor...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Styx River near Elsanor. * WHEN...From Sunday evening to Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Residents downstream at Seminole Landing should be alert to possible flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 1.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 12.3 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.3 feet on 02/27/2013. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
