* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast North Carolina, including the following county, Bertie. * WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 633 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northwest North Carolina, including the following county, Wilkes. * WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 622 PM EDT, The public reported flooding on Elkin Hwy 268 in North Wilkesboro due to heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Heavy rain is moving out of the area but runoff is expected to continue to collect into creeks, streams, and rivers. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Fish Dam Creek, Darnell Creek, Little Fork Creek, Moravian Creek, Middle Fork Reddies River, Mulberry Creek, North Fork Reddies River, Bee Tree Branch and Cub Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Wilkesboro... Wilkesboro... Wilbar... Millers Creek... * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...The lower Cape Fear River including downtown Wilmington. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Portions of Battleship Road and USS North Carolina Road observe minor coastal flooding up to one half foot in depth. In downtown Wilmington, a block of Water Street observes minor flooding up to one quarter foot in depth. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Affected areas listed are based on average tide conditions. Additional locations may experience flooding during periods of heavy rainfall, high winds, or other factors.

Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Marion and Horry Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Water levels will top the navigational lock and equipment must be removed. Minor flooding will occur on land adjacent to the east bank of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 43.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 39.9 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 42.0 feet. - weather.gov/safety/flood

Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in South Carolina... Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Marion and Horry Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Lumber River near Lumberton. * WHEN...Until late Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flooding worsens west of Interstate 95 and water may begin surrounding homes in the Pines and Coxs Pond areas. Homes off River Road may become isolated by flood waters. Water may also affect yards off Planetarium Road and fields off deep Branch Road. East of Lumberton, the lowest homes in the Pines area may be flooded and homes may be surrounded by water in the Pines area and between the Pepsi plant and the river. Chickenfoot Road, Noir Street and Hestertown Road may be impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:50 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 12.6 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - weather.gov/safety/flood
