At 1254 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles northeast of Aguilar, or 24 miles north of Trinidad, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Heavy rain, wind gusts 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Las Animas County.

HAZARD...Heavy rain, wind gusts 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... San Acacio.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following areas, San Juan River Basin and Southwest San Juan Mountains. * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The ground remains saturated from recent heavy rainfall over the past week. After a brief break, deep moisture is expected to return to southwest Colorado Tuesday with a few inches of rainfall possible during the Wednesday through Thursday timeframe.
