Northeastern Mifflin County in central Pennsylvania... * Until midnight EST. * At 1146 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from Julian to Milroy, and is nearly stationary. HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 20 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes Interstate 99 from mile markers 80 to 83. Locations impacted include... Bellefonte, Boalsburg, Pleasant Gap, Milroy, Centre Hall, Spring Mills, Alfarata, Potters Mills, Belltown, Seven Mountains, Poe Valley State Park, and Reeds Gap State Park.

Central Clearfield County in central Pennsylvania... * Until midnight EST. * At 1058 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from DuBois to Plymptonville to near North Philipsburg to State College, and was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the Dubois and Milesburg exits, specifically from mile markers 97 to 147. This includes Interstate 99 between mile markers 62 and 80, and near mile marker 84. Locations impacted include... State College, DuBois, Clearfield, Bellefonte, Sandy, Park Forest Village, Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Stormstown, Lemont, and Houserville.

Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates within the strongest bands may reach up to 2 inches per hour.
