Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory...IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT MONDAY. Advisory is in effect for Deschutes, Grant, and eastern Wheeler counties. A Smoke Air Quality Advisory has been issued. Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels. Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes...runny nose...aggravate heart and lung diseases...and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition. Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Pollution Advisory...until at least Monday. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality advisory for Klamath and Lake counties due to numerous wildfires burning in the region. DEQ also expects intermittent smoke in Eastern Douglas, Jackson and Josephine counties through at least Monday due to smoke from surrounding fires. The wildfire smoke combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels. Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on the weather. Smoke can irritate the eyes and lungs and worsen some medical conditions. People most at risk include infants and young children, people with heart or lung disease, older adults and pregnant people. The Lane Regional Air Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory, which is IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT SATURDAY. An Air Quality Advisory for Smoke has been issued. Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels at times through Saturday, July 27th. Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems.
