* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern St. Tammany Parish. * WHEN...Until 1045 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 754 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen with heavy rain still occurring. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing... Minor flooding is forecast to continue. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Red River Landing. * WHEN...Until Thursday, June 13. * IMPACTS...Impacts...At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps and river bottom farm land will be under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 50.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall for several days to about 48 feet, then rise to a level of 49 feet. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fields, De Quincy and Bancroft. Heaviest rain is just west of Fields, where nearly 6 inches have fallen. Flash flooding is likely along Highway 389 from Fields to Bancroft and any secondary roads.

Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier Sabine River Near Deweyville Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Thursday morning at 700 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 24.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.8 feet this afternoon. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
