At 1017 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Diamond City to Western Grove. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Arkansas, including the following counties, in northwest Arkansas, Crawford. In west central Arkansas, Franklin and Sebastian. * WHEN...Until 1215 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 911 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Heavy rainfall which occurred on Thursday has saturated the soils and any additional rainfall could lead to quick onset of water rises. Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area with the line of storms this morning.
