Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ohio River at Meldahl Dam. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 49 feet, lowland flooding near the river occurs, as well as backwater flooding in southern Clermont and Brown Counties in Ohio and Bracken County in Kentucky. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 49.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is now cresting and is expected to remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 49.0 feet. - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ohio River at Cincinnati. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 51 feet, water covers more areas of Kellogg Avenue from east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island to near Eight Mile Road. Parts of Humbert Avenue in the East End of Cincinnati also flood. Most of Public Landing is flooded, as well as Riverside Park off River Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 51.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 51.3 feet this morning before falling . - Action stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.

Backwater flooding into creeks and streams can also be expected. The City of Maysville itself is protected by flood walls to stages just above 79 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 49.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is now cresting and is expected to remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 48.0 feet. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 50 feet, lowland flooding affects southern Scioto County. Backwater flooding occurs into the Scioto River, as well as along smaller creeks flowing into the Ohio River. Flood waters expand across route 73, as well as State Route 239. Much of Portsmouth itself is protected by flood walls. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 50.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting around 50.5 feet now. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
