...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR NORTHWESTERN POTTAWATTAMIE...SOUTHWESTERN HARRISON...EASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH CENTRAL DOUGLAS COUNTIES... At 401 PM CDT, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was located 3 miles southeast of Kennard, or 4 miles north of Bennington, moving northeast at 40 mph. TORNADO EMERGENCY for the area near the Blair airport and far southeast Blair. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW! HAZARD...Deadly tornado. SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado near the Blair airport. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction is possible. The tornado will be near... Blair and Kennard around 405 PM CDT.
