* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * WHERE...Northern Denali Borough. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result.

* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Alaska Range North of Trims Camp. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result.

High Wind Warning issued October 4 at 8:59AM AKDT until October 4 at 8:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT...West winds 45 to 55 mph with gusts up to 75 mph. * WHERE...Pribilof Islands. * WHEN...Until 8 PM AKDT this evening. * IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long duration wind event is ongoing with frequent gusts to 60 mph likely. There is lower confidence on the frequency of wind gusts to 75 mph. However, occasional gusts to 75 mph are possible.

* WHAT...West winds 40 to 55 mph with gusts up to 75 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Aleutians. * WHEN...Until 8 PM AKDT this evening. * IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long duration wind event is ongoing with frequent gusts to 60 mph likely. There is lower confidence on the frequency of wind gusts to 75 mph. However, occasional gusts to 75 mph are possible.

High Surf Advisory issued October 4 at 7:47AM AKDT until October 6 at 12:00AM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 10 feet. * WHERE...St Lawrence Island. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight AKDT Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong northerly winds of 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 50 mph will continue through Saturday evening. These winds could cause minor beach erosion on northeast facing slopes of Saint Lawrence Island. Winds will slowly diminish on Sunday.

A strong Bering Sea low tracking east near St. Paul Island this afternoon will bring east-southeast winds with gusts up to 55 mph through early Saturday morning. The strongest wind gusts will be over Saint Lawrence Island, eastern Bering Sea, and Norton Sound. Inland areas including the Nulato Hills and the Seward Peninsula can expect gusts up to 45 mph.
