* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following county, southeastern Monroe and West Virginia, including the following counties, Marshall and northwestern Wetzel. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 702 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... At 639 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Kincaid Springs to Manchester, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include... West Union, Piketon, Manchester, Peebles, Blue Creek, Rarden, Otway, Poplar Grove, Dunkinsville, Elm Grove, Bradysville, Wamsley, Locust Grove, Ladd, Bentonville, Mount Joy, Cedar Mills, and Smoky Corners. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
