At 654 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cawker City, or 19 miles west of Beloit, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Mitchell, southwestern Jewell, southeastern Smith and northeastern Osborne Counties.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Republican City, Naponee, and Harlan County Dam around 655 AM CDT. Bloomington around 705 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Franklin and Riverton.
