The next statement will be issued Saturday evening at 900 PM CST. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CST Friday the stage was 24.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CST Friday was 24.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.5 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting Pearl River, St. Tammany and Hancock Counties. For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM CST Friday the stage was 19.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Sunday morning and continue falling. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.3 feet on 02/21/1982. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting Pearl River, St. Tammany and Hancock Counties. For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.5 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank. The Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge will be closed to hunting at the 15.5 foot stage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM CST Friday the stage was 15.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Tuesday evening and continue falling. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.6 feet on 01/29/1915. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
