Flood Advisory issued April 19 at 8:51PM CDT until April 20 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS Birmingham AL

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following county, Jefferson. * WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 851 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Gardendale, Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Fairfield, Fultondale, Pleasant Grove, Tarrant, Midfield, Kingston, Birmingham Airport, Five Points South, Ketona Lakes, B.j.c.c. and U.A.B. Campus.
