The Flood Advisory will expire at 545 PM AST this afternoon for a portion of Puerto Rico, including the following areas, Aguas Buenas, Caguas, Gurabo, Juncos and Las Piedras. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

Flood Advisory issued April 19 at 5:20PM AST until April 19 at 7:30PM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following counties, Cayey, Cidra, Coamo and Comerio. * WHEN...Until 730 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 519 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

FFWSJU The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Aibonito County in Puerto Rico... Barranquitas County in Puerto Rico... Naranjito County in Puerto Rico... Orocovis County in Puerto Rico... * Until 830 PM AST. * At 517 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly due to saturated soils and more shower activity developing over the region. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
