At 716 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles northeast of Stapleton to 6 miles southwest of Bay Minette. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gonzalez, Bay Minette, Stapleton, Molino, Point Baker, and Roeville.

Paint Rock River NEAR Woodville affecting Madison, Jackson and Marshall Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Paint Rock River near Woodville. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flood waters affect mostly bottomland along the river...including low lying farm and pasturelands. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:00 AM CDT Friday was 16.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.5 feet on 01/17/1997. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
