Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. At 856 AM CDT, While the heavy rain has ended across the warned area, residual flash flooding may still occur, especially in low lying areas. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell earlier this morning over many areas of central and northern Atoka county and southern Coal county. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
