Strong cross winds can be expected along I-80, particularly near Lake Point as well as the northern end of the Stansbury range.

Total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches with up to 6 inches along the benches. * WHERE...Cache Valley/Utah Portion, Eastern Box Elder County, and Northern Wasatch Front. * WHEN...From noon to 11 PM MST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected Thursday afternoon and evening, and will impact the Thursday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will spread across the area Thursday afternoon and persist into the evening hours. Warmer air moving into the region will result in a changeover from snow to rain along the valley floors this evening, with snow levels rising above the benches toward midnight.

Total snow accumulations between 8 and 14 inches with locally higher amounts up to 18 inches possible in the Park City area. * WHERE...Wasatch Back. * WHEN...From 11 AM Thursday to 11 AM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult at times. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will likely rise above valley floors in the Ogden, Heber and Morgan Valleys on Friday afternoon and evening, resulting in a changeover to rain. These areas will see snow totals near the low end of the forecast range. Precip will remain snow around Park City and the Snyderville Basin, resulting in snow totals near the high end of the forecast range.
