At 454 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Crofton to near Pembroke to near Oak Grove. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Central City, Elkton, Guthrie, Pembroke, Crofton, Powderly, Greenville, Dunmor, Weir, Drakesboro, Trenton, Rockport, Justice, Everett, Allensville, Allegre, and Clifty. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 88 and 92. Western Kentucky Parkway Mile Marker 59 and near Mile Marker 65. Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 11 and 27.

In southeast Kentucky, Jackson. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from training storms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Deese, Cornelius, Dabolt, Parrot, Bond, Peoples, Shop Branch, Middlefork, Moores Creek, Olin, Annville, Eberle, Carico, Green Hill, Ardery, Settle Store, Dango, Cruise, Welchburg and Mildred.

In southeast Kentucky, Knox. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Moore Hill, North Corbin, Barton and Corbin.

At 500 PM EDT, The public reported flash flooding along KY 1527 in between Gray and Baileys Switch. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Gray, Baileys Switch, Rossland, Arkle, Bertha Station, Garrich, Bentley Station, Emmanuel, and Lowell.
