At 1037 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Grantsville to near Racine, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Ripley, Spencer, Ravenswood, Sandyville, Reedy, Millstone, Cottageville, Mount Alto, Evans, Mount Zion, Leroy, and Letart.

At 1026 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
