Special Weather Statement issued July 26 at 8:46PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

At 845 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with torrential rainfall 9 miles west of Spartanburg, or near Wellford, moving west at 5 mph. Locations to be impacted include... Spartanburg, Greer, Five Forks, Duncan, Lyman, Wellford, Roebuck, Reidville, Moore, and USC Upstate. Very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.

Flood Advisory issued July 26 at 7:19PM EDT until July 26 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the following county, Horry. * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 718 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Little River, Cherry Grove Inlet, Little River Entrance, Wampee, Barefoot Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach, Briarcliffe Acres, Atlantic Beach and Sea Coast Medical Center. - This includes the following highways... SC Highway 31 between mile markers 16 and 24. SC Highway 22 near mile marker 26. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Flood Advisory issued July 26 at 6:38PM EDT until July 26 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Georgia, including the following county, Chatham and southeast South Carolina, including the following county, Jasper. * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Downtown Savannah into coastal portions of Jasper County, South Carolina. These storms are slow moving and will be capable of producing a quick 1 to 3 inches of rain. This will result in minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pooler, Bluffton, Tybee Island, Midtown Savannah, Hutchinson Island, Downtown Savannah, Hunter Army Airfield, Wilmington Island, Windsor Forest and Coffee Bluff.
