The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 930 AM EDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Altamaha River at Baxley. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 74.5 feet, Flooding of agricultural and timber lands is expected. Deens Landing and Linton Carter Landing boat ramps, picnic areas and parking lots begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 75.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 72.8 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 74.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Alapaha River At Statenville affecting Echols County. Santa Fe River At Hildreth On U.s. 129 Bridge affecting Suwannee and Gilchrist Counties. Santa Fe River At Three Rivers Estates affecting Columbia, Suwannee and Gilchrist Counties. Additional information is available at https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/forecasts.php?wfo=jax. The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 930 AM EDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Alapaha River at Statenville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 92.0 feet, Griner Road in Mayday begins to flood. This isolates 10 homes in the area. Flooding along the road subsides 2 to 3 days after the river crests in Statenville or when the river falls below 96 feet. At 100.0 feet, The boat ramp near the gauge and adjacent parking lot are flooded.
