At 521 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near West Salem, or 10 miles northeast of La Crosse, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe storm will be near... West Salem around 525 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include North Side Of La Crosse, Stevenstown, County Roads D E And E, Blue Bird Campground, Severson Coulee, Mindoro, and Four Corners. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 452 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
