CEMSGF Rebroadcast for EAS activation. The following message is transmitted at the request of the Laclede County Sheriff's Office in Lebanon, Missouri. Recent lightning strikes have taken out all dispatch lines and 911 lines for the Laclede County Sheriff's Office. The Lebanon Police Department phone lines are also down. Technicians are working to restore services at this time, but they may be out for several hours. In the meantime, a backup line has been set up for all incoming calls at 417-533-7497. The Lebanon Police Department can be reached at 417-991-3812. You can also contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol by dialing *55.

Northwesterly winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 40 mph behind a cold front this afternoon. The strong winds will combine with relative humidity of 30 percent or lower to create an elevated fire danger. The worst conditions are expected from 2 PM to 6 PM. Please exercise caution with any activities that involve outdoor fires or create sparks, including campfires, grilling, and operating large equipment. In addition, drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other high profile vehicles should be extra cautious this afternoon.
