* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. 1.5 to 2.25 inches of rain is likely with locally higher amounts possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following areas, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, De Kalb, Fulton IN, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Lagrange, Miami, Noble, Northern Kosciusko, Southern Kosciusko, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, Allen OH, Defiance, Fulton OH, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Williams. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flood Warning issued April 9 at 9:25PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Ohio... Stillwater Creek At Uhrichsville affecting Tuscarawas County. Muskingum River At Coshocton affecting Coshocton County. .Area rivers remain high with runoff from the recent heavy rain and reservoir releases slowing the fall of river levels. Additional rainfall is expected this week which will also maintain the elevated river levels. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Muskingum River at Coshocton. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water reaches low lying areas between Tuscarawas and Walhonding Rivers just upstream of the confluence of the two rivers. At 15.0 feet, Low areas are flooded and water reaches a few homes along Route 16 south of Coshocton and along County Route 1A north of Coshocton. At 16.0 feet, Flood waters begin to affect the Lake Park area along the Walhonding River and begins backwater flooding along Mill Creek north of Lake Park and along Route 83. Flood waters will begin to enter yards in low-lying areas along County Route 1A. At 18.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs along County Route 1A and lower areas along Route 16 south. Widespread flooding occurs from the Lake Park area south to near the intersection of Routes 83 and 36. Homes around North Water Street in Coshocton floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 15.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday was 15.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain nearly steady, before rising to a crest of 16.1 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.0 feet on 03/20/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Additional rainfall is expected this week which will also maintain the elevated river levels. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stillwater Creek at Uhrichsville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Stillwater Creek comes out of its banks in several locations resulting in overflowing in poor drainage areas. Minor flooding of low lying areas begins. At 11.5 feet, Flood waters of Stillwater Creek will reach the intersection of East 12th Street and North Main Street in Uhrichsville and approach Newport Street. Little Stillwater Creek will flood most of Phac Park along with portions of Wilson Road in Dennison. At 12.9 feet, Numerous low land areas are flooded. Stillwater Creek begins to flood portions of Newport Street in Uhrichsville. Homes along Park Drive begin to flood. Sections of Wilson Road near Phac Park are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday was 10.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain nearly steady, before rising to a crest of 11.7 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.1 feet on 11/13/2022. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Ohio... Tippecanoe River near Ora affecting Pulaski County. Tiffin River at Stryker affecting Defiance, Williams and Fulton OH Counties. .Soil conditions remain very wet over much of northern Indiana into northwest Ohio where two to four inches of rain has fallen during the past two weeks. Several rivers were still above action stage where renewed flooding is expected with additional heavy rain Wednesday night and Thursday. For the Tippecanoe River...including Ora...flooding is possible. For the Tiffin River...including Stryker...flooding is possible. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. * WHERE...Tiffin River at Stryker. * WHEN...From Friday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flood waters begin to affect some farm buildings near Stryker and flood some secondary roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached late Friday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
