* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 100 to 105 expected, except up to 110 in the valleys of western Siskiyou County. Low temperatures will be mainly in the mid to upper 60s. * WHERE...In California, Central Siskiyou County and Western Siskiyou County. In Oregon, Eastern Curry County and Josephine County and Jackson County. This includes Medford, Ashland, Grants Pass, Cave Junction, Happy Camp, Fort Jones, and Yreka. * WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This heat wave may extend into Tuesday and Wednesday.

This includes Klamath Falls, Lakeview, Mount Shasta, and Alturas. * WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This heat wave may extend into Tuesday and Wednesday.

Extreme Heat Watch issued July 10 at 1:28PM PDT until July 17 at 12:00AM PDT by NWS Portland OR

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures between 95 and 105 degrees possible. Low temperatures between 65 to 70 degrees are possible, which would limit overnight relief. * WHERE...Greater Portland/Vancouver Metro, Western and Central Columbia River Gorge, the Corbett area and the Hood River Valley, Lower Columbia River and Cowlitz River Valleys, and Central Willamette Valley. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a 40-50% chance that Tuesday night low temperatures remain above 70 degrees. There is also a 20-40% chance that Tuesday and Wednesday high temperatures exceed 105 degrees across the Willamette Valley.
