At 629 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Delhi, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Delhi, Waverly, and Tendal around 635 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Richmond.

Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting St. Tammany Parish, Pearl River and Hancock Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp will remain inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank.
