HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Des Moines, Ankeny, Pleasant Hill, Saylorville, Iowa Events Center, Iowa State Fairgrounds, Principal Park, and Drake Stadium And Knapp Center around 1105 PM CDT. Altoona, Bondurant, Adventureland Amusement Park, Prairie Meadows, Ankeny Regional Airport, and Weh-Weh-Neh-Kee State Park around 1110 PM CDT. Mitchellville around 1120 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Ankeny Regional Airport, Walnut Woods State Park, Weh-Weh-Neh-Kee State Park, and Margo Frankel Woods State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35 between mile markers 71 and 72, and between mile markers 87 and 91. Interstate 80 between mile markers 134 and 149.
