At 959 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Paragould to near Brookland to Bay. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jonesboro, Paragould, Trumann, Piggott, Lake City, Leachville, Rector, Bay, Senath, Brookland, Monette, Marmaduke, Oak Grove Heights, Cardwell, Arbyrd, Greenway, Black Oak, Jolliff Store, Delfore, and Carmi.

At 953 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of Hooks, or 9 miles northeast of New Boston, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
