At 932 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Escatawpa to 6 miles north of Petit Bois Island. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Grand Bay, Bayou La Batre, Dauphin Island, Coden, and Alabama Port.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Alabama... Paint Rock River near Woodville affecting Marshall, Madison and Jackson Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Paint Rock River near Woodville. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flood waters affect mostly bottomland along the river...including low lying farm and pasturelands. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM CDT Friday was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet this afternoon.
