Patchy dense fog that formed overnight will persist until shortly after sunrise. Visibilities in dense fog are less than 1/2 mile. Those driving should be prepared for rapid changes in visibilities across short distances, and allow for some extra following distance between vehicles.

Patchy dense fog and low clouds have developed across portions of northern Ohio. This mix of fog and low clouds is allowing for variable visibility across the area, including visibility as low as one-quarter of a mile in sheltered locations. Fog may increase in coverage toward sunrise. If traveling across the area, drivers should remain alert for rapid changes in visibility and use low-beam headlights.

Dense Fog Advisory issued September 13 at 3:13AM EDT until September 13 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
