IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Julesburg.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 673 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT /10 PM CDT/ THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN COLORADO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO CHEYENNE KIT CARSON IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS GREELEY LOGAN WALLACE WICHITA THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ARAPAHOE, BURLINGTON, CHEYENNE WELLS, LEOTI, OAKLEY, SHARON SPRINGS, AND TRIBUNE.

When a severe thunderstorm warning is issued, the storm may produce damaging winds, large hail, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain.
