At 842 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Cleveland. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Continued heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially in poor drainage areas. Locations impacted include... Pinefield Crossroads, Mossy Creek, Cleveland, Camp Coleman Lake, Auraria, Garland, Leaf, Smithgall Woods Conservation Are, Porter Springs, Turners Corner, Clermont, Hollingsworth, Dahlonega, Sautee, Helen, Qualatchee Lake, McKee, Murrayville, and Dawsonville.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following county, Appling. * WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 834 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... At 830 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from just north of Baxley to near Graham. Movement was northeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Graham, Pine Grove, and Baxley.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Glennville, Mendes, Five Points, Tison, Lynn and Noble.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following county, Appling. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 733 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts to around 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
