At 856 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong rain shower 9 miles east of Absarokee, or 9 miles south of Columbus, moving north at 15 mph. Radar estimates at least 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen so far. This rain shower will persist over the next hour. HAZARD...Heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Localized flooding of low-lying areas and drastically reduced visibility. Locations impacted include... Absarokee, Cooney Reservoir State Park, and Roberts.
