On the forecast track, the system will move near or along the northern Gulf coast during the next several days before eventually moving west of the area. Potential impacts to the northern Gulf Coast include locally heavy rainfall in any outer bands that move ashore and wind gusts up to tropical storm force along the immediate coast.
